Privacy Policy
Effective October 16, 2026
This policy explains what Printfarm collects when you use printfarm.tools, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it. lowpolyfactory.com passes its waitlist sign-ups to printfarm.tools, so this policy covers it too.
Who we are
Printfarm and LowPoly Factory are run by Kartzy Studio Inc, based in Delray Beach, Florida, USA. You can reach us at contact@printfarm.tools.
What we collect
You can use our tools without an account. We collect only the following:
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist. We email you a confirmation link that expires after 7 days, and we add you to the waitlist only after you click it. We also record which site you signed up from.
- Your answers to our short newsletter polls: how many printers you run, where you sell, and how you work out what a print costs you, with the time you answered. They are saved on your entry in the same waitlist.
- When you report an issue: the type of problem, your description, an email address if you choose to give one (we use it to reply), the address of the page you were on, your browser, your screen size and which tool the report came from. It is emailed to us.
- Google Analytics records the pages you view and how you use our tools, such as which controls you change and which results you look at. It sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. Each of our two sites has its own Google Analytics property.
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and a few actions, such as joining the waitlist or using the older cost calculator, in aggregate.
- Your IP address, held briefly so we can stop one visitor from sending the same form over and over.
- Our host, Vercel, keeps request logs for both sites: your IP address, your browser, and the page you asked for, including anything its address carries, such as the numbers in a shared link from the older cost calculator, a parts-guide plan or a Color Match search. They are kept under Vercel's retention settings, for security and to keep the sites running.
- Images inside blog posts load from Notion, where we write the blog, so Notion sees your IP address when you read a post.
- The 3D viewer in the parts guide loads a script from Google. When you open a 3D model, your IP address is sent to Google to fetch it.
- Your theme choice, the numbers you enter in the cost calculator and your saved plan in the parts guide are kept in your own browser. They reach us only if you open a link that carries them (see the request logs above).
- On lowpolyfactory.com, the email address you enter is passed on to the Printfarm waitlist, which then asks you to confirm it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with _ga. They let it tell one visit from another; they do not tell us who you are.
Your theme choice, the numbers you enter in the cost calculator and your saved plan in the parts guide are kept in your own browser. They reach us only if you open a link that carries them (see the request logs above). This uses your browser's own storage, not cookies. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
How we use it
- To confirm your waitlist sign-up and email you about Printfarm.
- To read and reply to the issues you report.
- To understand which tools and pages are used, so we know what to improve.
- To stop spam and abuse of our forms.
Who processes it
We use these companies to run the sites. Each handles your data only to do its job:
- Resend: Sends our emails and keeps the waitlist.
- Google: Google Analytics, and the 3D viewer in the parts guide.
- Vercel: Hosts both sites and runs Vercel Web Analytics.
- Upstash: Rate limiting on lowpolyfactory.com.
- Notion: Hosts the blog's posts and the images inside them.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist entries and poll answers: until you ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so we do not email you again.
- Issue reports: as long as we need them to handle the report.
- IP addresses used for rate limiting: briefly, and only for that purpose.
- Analytics: under the retention settings of Google Analytics and Vercel.
- Hosting request logs: under the retention settings of Vercel, our host.
Your choices
- You can leave the waitlist or stop our emails at any time by emailing contact@printfarm.tools. Our emails with updates on what we are building also include an unsubscribe link.
- To have your data deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email contact@printfarm.tools.
- You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the tools still work without them.
Children
Our sites are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date at the top.
